School is right around the corner

Having been out of high school now for more than a decade, and out of college since 2000 I leave it to my children to remind me what time of year it is.

Coral is about to start the second grade and couldn't be more excited. As an involved parent I have taken it upon myself to make sure that she has the best experience possible while in Elementary school. At the end of last year I was voted in as the PTA President for this school year.

Being a PTA President doesn't just mean that my child with have the best possible experience, but that EVERY CHILD at that school will have the best experience. I take that responsibility to heart, and let it rest heavily on my shoulders.

Now Asher on the other hand is about to start at a pre-school. He will begin the social experiment that is called pre-school and I will keep a close eye on him and his progress throughout the year.

It's Soccer season again!

This year I am again volunteering to be a youth soccer coach for the Parks and Recreation department. This will be my third season as a coach, and I hope to leave a lasting impressions on my new players and continue to impart knowledge on the players who are returning.

Oh Yeah, business stuff as well.

Beautiful Society is getting ready to relaunch in the next 30 days and with it comes a larger operations budget that will go into marketing more than anything else.

I am continuing to build relationships with other design agencies and find most of my new business coming from these agencies. It gives me the ability to do great work without having to struggle to find the clients.

While new clients are still a large part of my business I am happy to say that I have more than a few 'new client meetings' scheduled in the coming weeks. If all goes well contracts will be signed by the end of the month and I get to work on some really cool NEW projects

And, of course, I am still wrapping up some projects that have been going for far to long now. Mostly on the e-commerce side of things, but also in the social networking realm as well.
